Absolutely awesome place! Great service and great food! One of my absolute favorite things about this restaurant is the quality and freshness of their ingredients. Love the variety as well. Save room because ordering some of their delicious Deserts is absolutely a must!! Highly recommend giving Next Door a try.. it won’t disappoint!

I LOVE Next Door Kitchen & Bar. It's our absolute favorite restaurant in the region. We have been dining here or, more recently, ordering takeout from Next Door consistently for the past 5 years since moving up from DC and the quality, taste, and service is always top notch. The bar tenders and servers are incredible and I think they know all our family at this point too because we make sure that we take all visitors to dine here. Next Door is without a doubt the best restaurant in the Capital District. Farm to table with an emphasis on local growers including meats, the chef makes sure each ingredient enhances the dish without taking center stage. No lobster foam served here so if your looking to get the newest most complex unrecognizable dish - this isn’t your place. But if you want unbelievably good food that isn’t over complicated just flawlessly done. This is the place to go. The menu changes seasonally. Fortunately the goat cheese cheesecake is served year round. I’ve had great meals all over the world but it’s something I long for whenever I get home.

Amazing meal, from first to last bite. Had the halibut special, which was a wonderful combination of flavors, as it was presented. Kudos to the chef! Excellent, professional yet personable service, by Jacqueline. Will definitely visit again.

This place is fabulous, from the food to the service and atmosphere. This is my parents and I favorite place in ballston spa and if you haven't tried it, please do. You will be a loyal guest after your first time.
