If I could give zero stars, I would. One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had In my life. My boyfriend’s mother and I ordered coffee and the coffee Was not fresh and tasted like it had been sitting in a pot for a week straight. It tasted like what you’d expect mud to taste like. When the waitress came back to take our order we both asked for something different to drink and she didn’t even ask if there was anything wrong with the coffee. Even though the coffee was bad, we figured the food would be better, and it was not. My boyfriends mother’s dish had undercooked vegetables and She couldn’t even finish it. I ordered spicy noodles with chicken and was only able to take a few bites. If I had to choose between eating here for free or Taco Bell with me having to pay for it, I’d choose Taco Bell. I’m not much of a picky eater, but if I can’t finish my plate and I haven’t eaten all day, then that’s sad. Only good thing I can say about this place is that, according to my bf, the rattlesnake sushi was good. If the owner put as much effort into the quality of the food as he does the decor in the place, maybe I’d come back. What a disappointment. If you’re hungry and in the area, go to the Wendy’s across the way. It’d be much cheaper and at least edible. We spent 74 dollars that night for dinner for three, which blows my mind considering how bad the food is. What a waste of time and money.

Best sushi in New York. Very fresh ingredients. Rice in sushi is not mushy, which we prefer. Also the layer of rice around the see weed is thin, so you get more of the good stuff in the middle, and a lot less rice on the outside. Not like most sushi places where the rolls are mostly rice. Did I mention the service was outstanding?

Arrived at five, it wasn't busy. Service treated us so kindly. The bill was decent for the quality. I can see why they have a lot of positive reviews.

Sat a regular table vs cooking table, but ordered cooking table dishes off the menu. Made for much better conversation. Very good meal. Attentive wait staff. Short wait for table on a Friday night.

Waitress was great, but I ordered a 15 dollar sushi roll with blue crab, and when it arrived I could smell something was off and so could the other person with me. I tasted the sushi roll and knew something wasnt right. I told the waitress something was off and it didn't taste very fresh and asked if I could get a different roll. She spoke with the manager and came back and said the blue crab was from a can.... CANNED SUSHI.... I've been to all you can eat sushi that tasted fresher....
