Liberty Street Bistro

I’ve had good and so so experiences here, but have finally settled on a 5 star review. This is based on their casual takeout menu. They make possibly the best Reuben I’ve ever had which is enough for a 5 star review. It’s not cheap or huge portions but well worth it.

A real treat of a place to eat. This property was designed just beautifully. What's been created here is an exceptional ambiance in the historical section of Newburgh. The food is selected and prepared to perfection by a culinary maestro.

My husband and I came here for dinner and we were VERY impressed! We felt very safe and comfortable with their COVID protocols - we ate outside near a heat lamp and it was very nice. We got the nuts and olives to share and kale salad to start - very yummy! I got the calamari starter as my entree and it was decent sized portion and perfectly cooked! My husband got the salmon and it was very good. We are visiting from out of town, but would highly recommend to anyone.

In times like these it’s important to stop and rant about the good things too. Liberty Street Bistro is a must try! I recently stopped by and have to comment on everything. The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, the safety protocols due to COVID restrictions were superb and the staff was amazing. It was my first time there and I had no idea what to try. Rachel was not only patient with me, she was so sweet and made great recommendations. Taking her opinion on everything I was 100% satisfied. I will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend you do too. I would suggest The Rambler as a drink, delicious Mussels for appetizers, the perfectly cook Salmon as an entree and please do yourself a favor and try the Monte Blanc for dessert! A huge kudos to Rachel for making my experience worthwhile! See you again soon!
