Petco

We brought our matted Coton in for a much needed grooming. Crystal did an excellent job with his care and was really sweet. During his hair cut he received a small scratch but we were not concerned and they gave us ointment to help it heal. They seem to really love the pets they take care, take pride in their work and are happy and helpful. We've never had a negative grooming experience there!!

I made an appointment for my cat a few months in advance to get pretty severe knots out of his fur. We took him to the vet in the mean time and got the knots taken care of but wanted him to come in for what we described as a trim to make it so he would be less likely to get knots in his very long fur. We said we absolutely did NOT want a lion cut. We were told previously that this was doable but upon our appointment today we were told that the professional groomers at Petco only had one razor blade setting and was shown on their fingers to be about a 1/2 inch. We also were not made aware that it would take 3 hours for the appointment. We said that 1/2 inch was fine to save our cat from the discomfort of the long fur. We waited and out came our loving cat that was shaved to less than a 1/4 inch, it’s completely against his skin with a lion cut! We were very disappointed with this service and will never go back or do business here. We were new pet owners and rescued our cat as a kitten and went here hoping for support and help and we paid a crazy amount of money for service that was not what we asked for. Very disappointed and discouraged.

The guy who helped me dropped what he was doing to help me find what I was looking for. He went so far as to go out to the storage room and retrieve the item for me. OUTSTANDING SERVICE! However, the item (a dog poop picker) cost me almost twice as much as the same (out of stock) item at Runnings and more that 1/3 more than I could have gotten it from Amazon. I bought it anyway because I needed it right away but I could not escape feeling that I had overpaid by quite a lot. I would use Petco much more often if they could be more price competitive.

The store and the people who work there are great, but I definitely advise against ordering online or dealing with phone support. The website is a joke and customer care couldn't care less. Go to the local stores and shop there if you can for a much better experience.

Took my drama queen and her little brother in for nails and a bath. Extremely happy with the service. First time there. Will definitely be going back.
