Sammy's Pizzeria

I heard about this place from a local who grew up in the neighborhood. As a visitor I can't wait to follow locals' recommendation and that was a smart move. This pizzeria is full of character. The dough for specialty pizza is soft, medium thick, and slightly sweet. The tomato sauce also has that subtle and delicious sweetness. The salad was refreshing despite piled up with cheese and ham which makes it filling. The wings were on the dry side. Overall a great option for anyone who is interested in exploring local favorite and/or just look for old-fashioned homey Italian-American food.

Food was good, service hasnt obviously not seen much dine and it showed. Was the only table which was great. Pizza is great and the fish fry they had was great and well presented.

Food was ok once we got it. Ordered a pizza and salads. Took 30-40 minutes just for the salad to show up. Our pizza came out after an hour of waiting. Sat in the bar area with an empty drink for a solid 20 minutes. Definitely a locals place seemed like everyone knew each other.

Exceptional food and service! Try the old fashion pizza, and garlic parm wings. Two of my favorites!

Excellent food, awesome portions, great prices! The Beef on Weck was incredible, but the Chicken Alfredo was even better! The portion was enough for two whole meals!!! Highly recommend!
