Long story short, my wife fell very sick and was rushed to their i.c.u. The level of care and attention is remarkable.. i am grateful to have St Francis Hospital, it's affiliates and Catholic Health nearby.nnLiterally the most caring, warm and affectionate staff from top to bottom. True angels in a time of need.nnThank you God for sending your angels to help us heal. Please give them the protection, strength and the many blessings they deserve.nnI am eternally grateful.

My mother who is 89 years old, had valve replacement surgery at St. Francis Hospital, a few months ago. She is of Greek dissent and can barely speak a lick of English. She had the best experience. The staff treated my mother exquisitely. The level of care is like no other. Words cannot express our gratitude to the staff of St. Francis Hospital, especially during these unprecedented time. To add my Mother thought she lost her nightgown at the hospital and to our surprise it came in a UPS box a couple of weeks later❤ufe0f

We want to leave NYC. But we cant find a good hospital in the state we are looking that compares to St Frances.nWe live in the city but were told by doctors not to trust the hospitals there they are killing people allegedly for CDC money. St Frances has the lowest infection rate of any hospital in the NY area.nI don't know if they are pushing the vaccine like drug pushers like other hospitals since I have not been there since the vaccine roll out.n700 people have died and 10,000 hospitalized according to the CDC from the vaccines. Those statistics were as of February 4th If they are pushing the vaccines I would take a star off but I don't know. Everything I have experienced at St Frances is stellar except the billing.nI get incessantly billed for bills I have already paid. So the billing department is not so professional.nBut the hospital is clean and the doctors top notch and the doctors are ethical and don't kill patients like they are allegedly doing in Manhattan hospitals.

Wish I read the 1 star reviews before I came here last night at 9pm. Some of them are true and experienced/experiencing. No docs on site then again not even PA. I came here to make sure my chest pain isn’t dangerous at 9pm and I’m still here after several, several hours of waiting to get contrary CT scan and echo. Seem like they forget about you. You have to remind them to be taken to the test. The second test was done 4 hours ago and I asked the nurse to speak to the doc about it few times and still waiting. It’s just horrendous. They don’t even come to update you. I haven’t seen a doc all day!! I don’t think I’ll come back here....ever. It’s 19:10 still no doctor. No way will I stay even if they tell me that I need to say at this point!

Clearly some miserable staff at St Francis don’t know how to speak to patients or their families. No visitation in the ED but all we get in a 1 minute phone call to check on our loved one from Liz RN is “Can we move this along, I have other patients to see ?” Carrie in case management is beyond rude, obnoxious and should not be allowed or interact with humans. Delay in care for 3 days for a transfer - is this the standard of care you talk about? Oh that’s right, nobody works on the weekends and we don’t function as a 24 hour hospital. Teach your staff about compassion and how to communicate with patients and their families. You have enough resources to do so.
