Kyoto Japanese Restaurant

Ate there yesterday. Spent $140.00 dollars on dinner and left a very generous tip. Forgot my hat at the booth that I sat at. Just called when they opened to see if they had it and was told “I don’t see anything maybe someone threw it out”.

Came here for a birthday and was very happy, as always. They were busy and still paid attention to allergies and gave excellent service. Highly recommend them for any night of fun ~nTip your grillmaster!

I was very disappointed with the service last night. I felt extremely rushed through my meal. The soup, salad, and main course came out within 2 minutes of each other and I felt that I had to shovel it down before the next course appeared on my plate with no time to enjoy it. The actual chef who did the main meal was good and I had no problem with the food. I never got my appetizer and figured the waitress had forgotten, but it was no big deal. Then after we had our finished meals and gotten to go containers , she brings over the appetizer. I said we were ready to go and had already finished, and she brings the bill over with the appetizer on it. I mentioned that I never received the appetizer and she told me they were packing it to go for me and didnt remove it from the bill.

My 1st time at Kyoto. I love sushi but this time I was here for a Hibachi table birthday party. Everyone had a good time..even the 3 & 5 yr olds. This is my sushi app that I just had to have.. They even had my favorite..uni (sea urchin). I'll be back for sure.

I took my son and daughter in-law to Kyoto for a late lunch. She had a taste for sushi, my son had sushi as well. I chose (chicken something) the service was mediocre and my chicken tasted bland and like it was boiled and difficult to cut. The drinks were two ice teas, they were not pleased with their meal as well, my bill was between $70-$80 dollars which includes a large gratuity charged on my card without my request.manager was not available and I was told they could not remove it and they would have a manager be in touch with my son and me. I have traveled all over the world and complained very few times in the numerous restaurants I have dined in. I will follow up this review if I get a response or not!
