My last experience during covid last April was my appendix bursting..sent here..excellent care but sent home before I could even walk..because it was safer..now I've been sitting in the parking lot since this morning..my son is having out patient surgery. They called at 20 after 5 to tell me he just went in!!!! I've been in the parking lot turning my car on and off to stay warm..no facilities as you can't go in..I've used almost a whole tank of gas to stay warm..I really don't drive at night anymore and it's getting dark..I'm sorry I get it..the virus..but this is unexceptable..people who live on budgets can't run around..go out to eat..waste gas..I've been in this lot since this morning..you need a plan b..its winter!!! And please understand I'm not complaining to complain..It was 11 hours in the parking lot..and that does not include our driving times up and back..

This backwards backwoods hospital gets one star for two reasons from the perspective of this travel nurse:nn1. Disorganized. Facility policies not up to date. Questions are not welcome and feedback is flippant, at best. Not an environment conducive to professional development or learning.nn2. Advancement is a joke. You can apply, but not allowed unless you're related to someone.nnNo way am I renewing my contract.

CVPH has great employees in all areas and I personally have in past been admitted and the care I got from everyone was excellent

unorganized and unprofessional in every way. i’ve been here all throughout my life and have never had a good experience. I once came in, knowing i was sick, and after waiting 5 hours the ER told me it was all in my head and that I was fine. I went to a different hospital the next day and they told me I had mono and strep and it’s good I came in. *this was a couple years ago* every experience has been about the same as this. the check in nurses at fast track are also the rudest and most unprofessional people i’ve ever met. I’m not a karen, this place is just trash.
