UPMC Chautauqua - Jones Memorial Health Center

Have watched them drag away screaming kids with schizophrenia here to shut them up. Have known multiple patients; over many years. No one I have ever known from this institution was successful in out patient care.

If I could give 0 stars I would, had a family member there. Never done anything to help. Rude and uneducated staff. I would recommend to go else where!

Inexperienced staff, rude, don't listen to patients complaints. Say one thing and do something different, ignore pertinent,important questions patients ask. They need more experienced Drs. ,counselors, and psychiatrists. I wouldn't go ther ,even if I lived next door

If I could give a 0 star rating I would. A family member was admitted to the child adolescent mental health unit presenting with many behaviors harmful to himself and other in the family. After 5 days of doing nothing aside from a nurse practitioner saying his physical health was fine and decided they were ready to discharge. He was admitted for psychological symptoms. They administered no psychological assessments, and then shoved him out the door. To make things worse, they were in such a rush to get him out that they didn't send the one medication they required we send with him that they didn't not have on hand, home with us. We live 2 hours from the facility and they wanted us to drive 2 hours out to pick up the prescription and 2 hours home. This place is an absolute joke and they do nothing they say they will.
