Samaritan Hospital - St. Mary's Campus

I love St. Mary's Hospital! It is close to home and I always have a positive experience when I go there (and I have been in various units of the hospital.) I went in for a lumbar puncture and the doctor who performed the procedure was absolutely wonderful. He was funny, tried his best to ease my nerves and was successful! Post procedure staff was also kind and accommodating while having to stay in the hospital for 3 hours after the procedure. This was a particularly pleasant experience I will always remember! This will always be my hospital of choice!

will never go back. went in for a extremely high fever, sore throat, barely had a voice, and some other symptoms. didn’t wait long since i scheduled online. intake was nice. the nurse taking my vitals apologized for smelling like cigarettes which i thought was very polite of him. i assured him it was okay. he started asking about my symptoms and i told him i had a high fever and he asked how high when i went to answer he just shouted at me “i’ll just assume you didn’t ACTUALLY take your temp and you’re just guessing?” i gave him the number and he left. the woman comes in and asks relatively the same questions and i went to tell her i had a miscarriage and i was afraid it might be an infection she told me “we’re not a hospital you only get one complaint. if there’s something else you can go to your primary care doctor.” even though i told her i didn’t have one. i was never rude or anything. i did nothing to be treated this way.

Seen PA Jenna Locaputo on 2-4-19. Was way too much in a hurry and have seen her in the past, was not pleasant. Will never go to this urgent care again the worse experience ever. And top it off my grandson goes there and goes to his primary and said total different what he has. and people I know they will never go back there again because of her.

I have been here twice, waited 2 hours both times while noone was there. I was seen both times by PA Jenna who is absolutely rude and clueless. She keeps saying she doesn't have a crystal ball and can't tell you the future for your symptoms. I am pretty sure doctors and health practitioners are supposed to give you a prognosis but she can't do that for the simplest of things.nnIt doesn't help that she is rude and has terrible communication skills as well. She saw us for a whole 3 minutes while the rest was just waiting.

My general physician is Dr. Rehman on Hoosick St, at the place across the street from Save A Lot Plaza. He is always professional & thorough. Whenever I need blood work for him I go to the St. Marys on 1300 Massachusetts Ave. I come prepared with my paper & have the blood work & never have any problems. I don't know what the people are complaining about. The phlebotomist is nice enough to me. So I am fine with it, & am going to go this morning to the get the blood work done. Perhaps I'll bring my blood sugar machine to see if they can show me how to use it so that I become comfortable with it.
