Franklin Alley Social Club

Arrived at 9 pm, on a Friday- waitress took our order, 3 beers and a pizza with poutine tater tots. No mention of a wait etc. she came back at 9:30 and asked how we were... said were good. No mention of the food coming soon etc.nI went up to the bouncer (? I think? Hostess maybe?) as he was being hand delivered an order of tots from someone in the kitchen. I said “hey we ordered food at 9, I was wondering if we could get an update on it”nHe checked & came back, told us 10 more minutes they’re really backed up.nWe waited until 10 then decided to just pay for the beers and leave. No one tried to make up for it, offer an apology, etc. just threw the bill down on the table and walked off while we signed for the card payment. Overall just an extremely rude staff.nThis is my third time visiting and my last. Food was ok on my other visits, but not worth an hour wait with no updates & definitely not worth their attitudes.nAll I wanted was a “hey the kitchens really backed up but it’ll be out soon!” Instead, I just got ignored all night.

Love the tots and the drinks are excellent. Awesome place to go if someone in your group is vegetarian/vegan.

Great food and delicious vegan options!

Visited the Capital Region for the first time since this place has opened and was blown away by how cool this place was. Awesome little hideaway bar, games, and extensive vegan options on the menu. It was Emo Karaoke when I was there which took up some of the floorspace and access to games but it was a good time and I could tell it's very chill and fun on every other night as well.

Franklin Alley Social Club is an awesome place to hang out with friends and family. There is plenty of room for everyone. They often have great events inside and outside. Their bartenders and music are hip and cool. This place has a fun and enjoyable vibe. I highly recommend this place!
