McGreivey's

Went to McGreivey's for the first time on Valentine's Day. We had a wonderful experience - the food was so good, and HOT. Honestly, I hadn't realized how cold most of the food is that you get at a restaurant until I dined here. I had their fried eggplant sandwich with amazing sweet potato fries, and my husband enjoyed some jambalaya. Their apple crisp for dessert was to die for but believe me you won't want to try to eat it alone - they are huge servings. I highly recommend this place - not only is the food excellent, but probably the best service I've had in a long while. I will definitely be going back soon!

Seven of us enjoyed a light supper and a variety of beers. I had a taco salad with pulled pork, which was different and delicious. (No shell and salad surrounded by colorful tortilla chips.) Special tacos on Wednesday for $2 each...or order off the menu at their regular price. Bartender was friendly and very helpful--for a novice in the beer world!

The flavor of the food was amazing, Delmonico I ordered was exactly how I liked it. Veggies tasted great as well as the potatoes and gravy. My only issue that kept me from giving 5⭐ufe0f is the fact that I'm a bus driver and everything in one container made things a bit messy. I understand cost effectiveness is major in the world we live in right now. So it isn't a huge deal. Overall I will be eating here again. I'll just be dining in the next time. Great job.

We get to come to McGreivey's about once every 6 months and we've never had a bad experience. Table service is awesome and bar service is equally as awesome. Terry and Gwen took excellent care of us today and we will be back again very soon ... sooner than 6 months!
