Huntley Taverne

I've been going to Harvest Restaurant's for years (I live close to Addam's Tavern and go their frequently), and last night was the best Harvest experience I've ever had! Our server David was excellent, as was the food and ambience. Sal and the rest of the team in the kitchen went out of their way - can't wait to go back!

Really 2.5 stars...Love the atmosphere and the service. The cocktails, jalapeno margaritas, were delicious. The food was so-so. I ordered the short rib pot pie, it came out cold at first. When it came back they'd burnt the crust, but it wouldn't have mattered as the crust was too salty and rubbery, not flaky at all. The rib was flavorful, but the carrots were hard and the whole thing was more mess than masterpiece. I did enjoy the butternut squash soup, fresh ginger really set it apart. So go to the Huntley just don't order the short rib pot pie.

The atmosphere was nice, the food was above average, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The menu is a bit limited though I understand why. In comparison to others, it is more extensive. We had dinner in the chef's room to celebrate a wedding and were not aware that we only had an hour and a half for the room. We ended up having to get our dessert to go. Overall, I did enjoy this restaurant and would come back. I have been here once before and enjoyed my time then as well.

What a beautiful place for dinner or lunch. They seem to be very safe. Temperature was taken as soon as we arrived. Everyone had masks and social distanced. I felt very safe. Staff was very welcoming and polite. Food was amazing. Highly recommend!
