2 stars only because our server was great. Should have known experience wasn't going to be good since all local restaurants I wanted to go to we're booked but Charley's had openings. First, no bread. Have to pay for bread. 2nd, appetizers and fish chowder not the same. Chowder wasn't spicy at all and very disappointed in taste. Crab cakes practically no crab and all filling and how do you charge $30 for entree and give french fries as side? Desserts were edible, choc lava cake reminded me of a cheap cake in a cup. Guess it's a good tourist trap for the summer people. Will not be back.

My friends ordered fried chicken sandwich. Its taste is rather generic and it comes with a passable bacon.nI ordered a chocolate cake that's below average. The interior is stylistic and the seating is extra comfy. Good for dates that you don't want to surprise the interested third-party with your colossal appetite.

We made a reservation for outdoor seating here today. The porch was very nice and well spaced out. We had a kind attentive waitress and the food was delicious! Highly recommend the crab artichoke dip and fish filet sandwich.nnWe will be returning in the summer!

We had dinner tonight for the first time. We have driven by for years saying “we have to try this place”. Finally, we did and we were NOT disappointed!!!nnFrom the start we had a great experience. We were upstairs and the bartender/server was pleasant, attentive, accommodating and informative. Everything you want in “service”.nnWe started with the Voodoo shrimp. Not ever have I thought to combine shrimp with BBQ wine sauce and garlic bread but it was amazing. I had the special salmon with risotto and a pesto cream sauce, my husband had the shrimp francaise and our son had the pot pie. All was delicious! Our son would have preferred that the pot pie not have a “lemony” taste but he still ate the whole thing and the crust was delicious.nnGreat key lime pie and and chocolate peanut butter bomb for dessert.nnNeedless to say we will go back!

Very friendly staff. Food was very good for the price (highly recommend the calamari), interior was underwhelming and it wasn’t really ocean views like I thought it’d be. Still enjoyed it though!
