Hackensack Meridian Children’s Health at K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital

Arrived at The Children’s Emergency Room on 10/17/19 at 7pm. My daughter’s finger needednan x-ray to check if her finger was broken. I left at 11:00pm 4 hours later never getting an x-ray or seeing the doctor. I was told it would be another 2 hours before the doctor would even be able to see me because they only have one Pediatric doctor on duty. Wow! I would have waited 6 hours to see the doctor and possibly another 6 for the x-ray. No thank you! I’ll go to another hospital that properly staffs their emergency rooms! I will never return to this hospital after my experience!

Having access to this important healthcare resource is a major benefit for the Jersey Shore and everyone within its sphere of care. There is nothing scarier than bringing a child to the emergency room, - and knowing that top-tier medical professionals are available makes a huge difference. Great experience with caring staff at every contact point..

Hospital staff is great. Some security officers are blood gang members with open gang tattoos on there arms. Had one intimidate my family when my wife had a baby there. Very disturbing

Loved the care provided to my daughter when admitted there.
