9th Ave Pier

Just left Pier 9 the atmosphere is beautiful. The food truly sucks. I cannot believe a group that owes a number of restaurants in the area would serve such inedible food. Save your money and dine elsewhere. Also Pier 9 fire your so call Chef (I’m being kind calling him a Chef) because he has no clue what he is doing in the kitchen.

It's a nice place to sit and drink. If you don't expect too much, I think you'll enjoy it.nnBasic beer selection. Overpriced and bar food style. $7 for a basic beer is a lot. Food is priced high and served with very little fanfare and in small quantities. $14+ for almost everything food wise.nnI like it okay... but 2 drinks a piece and burgers for 4 people is well over $125... and this is hardly restaurant eating.nnSo enjoy the view and the water and ignore the tab. You'll like it too.

Wow! Who knew fish n chips is so expensive??? It was delicious, nice and hot! Service was very good!!

Waited over an hour for a table that was open for the entire time we were there that WE STOOD BY, and once the sun set so it was super dark, MEANWHILE we walked past a bunch of open tables that were socially distanced from others in the more lively area and saw tables for 4 sat with 6 people. I come here frequently and clearly your staff has zero sense in where to sit or how to sit people. Hopefully we don’t get the same experience the next time we come because I’ll be speaking and I will wait for a manager. That was utterly ridiculous. Get more staff or don’t be open, covid or not it was so unnecessary waiting over an hour for that.

We happened upon this place as we were searching for lunch before our boat trip. We were seated quickly, great waterside tables! Prompt, friendly service! The food was excellent! I got the black bean burger ( I know, what an outrage to not get seafood, lol) it was up there with the best black bean burger I have had.nMy husband loved his food as well! We were also excited to see they had Conshohocken Brewery beer as we live there!nIt was also nice that they had a kids menu!nHighly recommend!
