Skylark is a rather unusual diner with contemporary art deco look. Not open 24 hours. They have a liquor license and a large lounge area. Good cocktails and decent food. Excellent breakfast spot. Good omelets and fresh squeezed orange juice. Parking can be tough, really inadquate. Sunday brunch requires a reservation. Lunch and dinner are hit or miss. Happy hour 3pm-7pm Sunday through Thursday.

I come here on Mondays occasionally from south jersey when I visit my mom and I NEVER had a bad meal here!!!! I had the mash potatoes and grilled vegetables and it was so on point, I did not even need the butter that came with it on the side or any salt or pepper for my vegetables!! This is a laid back but classy diner. The waiter Jared who has waited on us a couple of visits previously, is super friendly and a great addition to this place as well as the rest of the staff. Highly recommend this place!!!

Served coffee in a cup that lipstick on it and sat us near a bug catcher. Do not go here!

Pleasant surprised that we could dine inside because they can open up the window walls, so we felt safe with the air circulation.nMaple Walnut waffles were excellent. Quick service. Great place to bring a small group of friends.

It was good but very disorganized. The servers did not know who was taking our table and what drink menu to give us. Kept handing us one from fall saying Sam Adams Autumn was still on tap. The lady who did wind up serving us was great and very friendly. The food was good but to be honest I have had better at other diners. Plus no grilled chicken gyros. I would recommend going and trying it for yourself since it is one of the more unique diners in NJ.
