Smoking Dragon

Cool location, good products and selection. Although, the parking lot had empty vape boxes littered on the ground, no employees (2x) were wearing masks, a group of customers were not wearing masks (as of mid-December). Employees have been helpful at times, except when their friends are hanging out with them in the store. It’s convenient when I’m in town shopping, but I’m tempted to travel to other stores further away for a more professional environment.

Since I can’t figure out how to respond to your reply, I will edit. To the owner or whoever responded to this- If I were you I’d figure out your phone system ASAP. and should you need to close because your employee can’t come in then you should update your vm system on that day to say you apologize for the inconvenience of being closed unexpectedly. At this point in time it’s understandable you’ve lost employees and are struggling with staffing during open hours. I work in customer service and can understand and relate. But to not update your online hours, post a handwritten sign on your door regarding “open hours” and lock it during that time- especially to not have a working phone.. I can’t imagine i’m the only business you’ll lose. Your store hours should be your store hours. If there’s a change in that- you should edit the voicemail for your shop (that didn’t exist last I tried calling) to tell people. Im sure I’m not the only one who tried calling prior to showing up. If you have one employee then speak with them and arrange 2 days or shifts they could have off and expect them otherwise- and post those hours on your door. Should they not show- I’d hope the owner of the establishment would instead. Store hours are store hours. If it comes down to it, I’d rather see the store open and running by the owner than nobody at all. You will lose more business than just me otherwise. I truly didn’t want to bash this business but having worked in customer service many years and recently in a low staffed establishment, I can’t understand why this business is unable to update their hours and phone voicemail to accommodate people. I live 25 mins from Flemington; if I make a trip there for vape juice I’d like to know I’m showing up to an establishment that’s open when they say they’ll be.nnPrior to covid I would’ve said this isnt a bad shop to visit. They have a decent selection, both vape and glass. I typically saw the same employees every visit who were nice and seemed knowledgeable. However since covid, I must say I’m quite disappointed; no google update about store hours, nor is the handmade sign taped to the door correct seeing as I showed up today during the hours said homemade sign- claimed you’d be open. And the door was locked. I’d called the location prior to even leaving my home, only to get a direct robot message about said Verizon caller not being able to receive calls. I’d tried a different shop Saturday that didn’t have the coils I need, yet needing them so bad I figured “okay I’ll go completely out of my way to see if they do have them and are just having some phone issues.” Only to come across a man who lives above the smoking dragon, who gave me the number of an employee and said “you didn’t get it from me.” I personally don’t think this is the best way to do business, I do not feel conformable contacting a number I’ve received from a mutual individual. So if you’re mutual friends with the owner or employees, this is the shop for you. These shops can currently function, smoking dragon simply is choosing to close when they feel like it. If you’re looking for a place reliably open with a good selection, I’d recommend Good Guy Vapes- one of many locations, but one right in flemington on 31N that I too often forgot existed and from now on will be putting my business toward. The selection is about the same, the employees just as nice and knowledgeable, but at least they’re there when they say they’ll be!!

I enjoy going to this store.They are always fully stocked with all kinds of cool products. It's Very clean and well organized. The staff are amazing!! Very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly shop, always willing to help you with whatever you need. If you need something they don’t normally have in stock Brian is willing to order it for you. If your looking to support a small family owned vape shop in Flemington instead of franchises this is the one to go to.
