Bin 14

Unfortunately, I can not give this place a higher review because trying to make a reservation for 7+ ppl was insane. They say on the website and when you call that all you have to do to make a reservation of this kind is to send an email. I have yet to receive an email or an acknowledgment of my email and my event was yesterday. I think it is extremely unprofessional especially when I was not guided at all when I called to check on my reservation. When I called, I was told that someone would get in touch with me eventually and when I asked to speak to the person, they automatically said that person was unavailable. There was no option to leave a voicemail or message. I even sent 2 follow up emails and still received nothing. It is a shame because the food was good but trying to get in contact with someone was a huge disappointment. Because this was basically the only option for my friends and myself for a surprise birthday, we still went but could not have the amount of people that we desired. Overall my friend was happy but I can’t help but think that she may have enjoyed her experience more if 2 of her other close friends were able to make it. If this were not the only option for us (because everywhere else did not have reservations for that day and we were able to make a reservation for 6 through the online portal) we would not have chosen this place due to the way we were treated trying to make a reservation. That is unfortunate because the food like I said was really good.

We get to this place after reserving and are not greeted by the host we had to come up to her and ask if we can be seated inside to which she replies “absolutely not” and left me shook. As we are seated outside they turn on a heater that blows wind so its not that warm and blows our napkins away. We ask if we can have one of the flame heaters closer to us and they refuse. We got sangria and it was the worse I’ve ever had, food was ok. End of the story, never coming back here and cant wait to leave.

The value is not here. The portions are criminally small given the prices. The food was fine. I've been coming here on and off for almost a decade and I can definitely say that the pandemic has only exaggerated the less appealing aspects of Bin 14. Their once astonishing wine list has been streamlined to a mere shadow of it's former self. The $98 dollar bottle of barolo we bought turned out to be a bottle we regularly purchase for ~$34, which make the mark up hard to swallow (no pun intended). The saving grace was the gracious staff and spacious streetery space. Maybe they'll get back to fighting shape as things return to normal, but for now...I'd say toss this one in the bin.

I used to like Bin14 and I have been a customer for years.nTonight I ordered food for my bf and I and this is what came... (see photos)nI am used to small portions but this was beyond my expectations.nThe salmon looked like I went on some serious “weight watchers” diet and lost 3/4 of its size.nBin 14 can be a contestant on “The Biggest Loser” as far as I am concerned.nTo top it all, my bill was whopping $52 with change.nDo yourself a favor and order from elsewhere.nWith so many places closing due to Covid, one would think that Bin 14 would try harder to stay in business.

Disappointed in the food. States they have Gluten free items. Ordered a burger & was told they had no GF buns...but had gluten free pita bread. Ok; I could live with that; then I Got home and the pita bread was pita chips?! Wt? Also had fried calamari; got about 20 pieces in the order, normally one really wouldn't count the pieces, but there was more tin showing from the bottom of the container than there were pieces of food For the $$ I paid for the whole order, was quite disappointed.
