[Original building review - it's all new as of 2020] This is quite a friendly, family-run establishment. It's old, but don't let that detract you. It's an old school, Irish-run Hell's Kitchen watering hole. The prices are low, the ale selection is solid, the staff are simply wonderful, and I think the food is every bit as good as Landmark Tavern a block north. Landmark has the architecture and history, and it's worth visiting. But McQuaid's is just as pleasant. It's quite a value to have a quality lunch and a few pints and not break $30 on the check.

We were up in two harbors for our honeymoon and both times we ate here we had the best time. The food is outstanding and the wine and drinks list amazing. Both my husband and I were extremely happy with both food and service! Sam was our waitress the first night and she gave the best recommendations, Mary the second and followed suit. We won't eat anywhere else when we come back to two harbors!

My husband & I have been coming to McQuaid's since the late 90s. The owners and their warm hospitality and sunny disposition was always so welcoming and anticipated. Their food is amazingly delicious and affordable. We spent many nights creating amazing memories there so when we heard they were closing down, we were brokenhearted. Then upon hearing what the owner did to keep the bar is only the epitome example of the warriors these people are. We're glad they fought to keep her running and look forward to bringing our children there.

Great service and great food. I would recommend the Irish fare like the Sheppard's pie but if you're looking for something like a Philly Cheese steak it's still great.
