Ruddy & Dean

Since the pandemic started, I’ve ordered from Ruddy and Dean a bunch of times and the food has always been absolutely fantastic. Last night me and my boyfriend decided to go to the actual restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Now, I already loved this place because of the food, but my love grew even more because of the service. From the moment we got there to the moment we left, the service was spectacular. They treated us extra special without even knowing it was our anniversary, which says a lot about them. This is, hands down, one of the best restaurants on Staten Island (and it’s fairly priced too)

Not too HappynThe sides were hot and quite good, but I don't go to a steakhouse for mac and cheese.nThe Porterhouse was way under temperature and lukewarm.nThey did offer to cook it more, but it was already sliced so it came back warm, grey, still rare.nIf you're on steak station, you better know how to cook to temperature..

A great Staten Island icon. Fantastic food and staff. The owner, Danny, is a character, always checking on his diners and making sure everyone is enjoying their meals.

The service was excellent. The waiter was really helpful and attentive to our table.nnThe food- top notch! The appetizers were amazing. The thick- cut bacon was incredible. Then, had the scallops, which were also buttery and decadent. Wow. I will definitely be making this place a monthly stop going forward!

We came to this spot for dinner. we heard about this place from a lot of people. Well, it was very nice. The staff were extremely nice and we felt good. The food was just great. We loved this restaurant a lot and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Highly recommended.
