Moxy

Very pleasant surprise! We were on an unexpected one day excursion to Portsmouth and we were looking for a place for dinner. Saw that this restaurant was award winning with great reviews, so decided to give it a try. Outstanding! One of the best meals that we've had in a long time! Dishes were original and absolutely delicious. Coupled with some great drinks, this place is a winner. And, to boot, prices were very reasonable! Highly recommend!

I live in Portsmouth and have always been told to check out Moxy but just haven't gotten over there until last night. Safe to say I'll be back there soon, very tasty tapas-style plates. The drinks were great as well. Service was great along with the very cool atmosphere in there. If you're in the area I'd recommend checking this place out.

It was pretty good, but I don't think any of the dishes were very creative or special. Drinks were good. A lot of the food was basically dressed up diner food; tasty, but not very exciting. Drinks were great, service was great.

Every part of the scallop dish was extraordinary. Visually beautiful, and one of the most delicious dishes I've ever had any where in the world. Very effective mixology with drinks that are well constructed, balanced, and what so many places fail to achieve, fun to taste and experience. Can't wait to some day return the Portsmouth just so I can return to Moxy. Well done, folks!

We came for dinner on a brief trip to Portsmouth. I'd optimistically booked for dinner outside, and as a storm rolled in they actually called me to ask if I'd like to move my res inside - awesome they reached out so I didn't have to! The drinks were phenomenal and the food was amazing. They also did a nice job of following COVID precautions - all wearing masks appropriately, keeping people socially distant, keeping everything sanitized. Can't wait to come again next time I find myself in Portsmouth!
