After my tattoo artist retired, I needed to find a new artist and I hit the jackpot with Jo-jo. Not only is she an artist - she created my 8th tattoo (2nd with her) but she's also technically strong. She's fun to work with, provides sound advice, and has a gentle hand (translation: no pain!). I was so thrilled with my first appointment, that my husband made an appointment with her. I had a consultation appointment and then scheduled my first session with Jo Jo. During the consult she was really into collaborating with me about ideas, placement, size and colors that she'd use at our first session. Her shop was very clean and comfortable. During the first session, I really liked how she was checking in to make sure I was not in too much pain or if I needed a quick stretch break. Jo Jo worked smoothly and efficiently throughout my time there. She is very clear that she welcomes input on how the tattoo is being done. She wants to make sure that the customer is very happy with the ideas and suggestions, after all, it lasts forever!!I'm really looking forward to our next session. I am also very happy with the progression from our first sitting.
