Prices are pretty good. Some of the side dishes like the sweet potato chips and cheesy mac really are just disgusting. I typically get the steak and rib combo which is great. The bread and butter is very good and is free so you can always ask for more.nnOverall it's a decent place to eat for the price.

Never again! The disgustingly dirty bathrooms should have been our first clue. 45 minutes after ordering and seeing other tables come and go we asked about our order. They brought the food out immediately then and I think they had forgotten it because nothing was warm. They commented it took awhile because our hamburgers were ordered well done. 45 minutes? Food was not very good and service non existent. A table had a glass spill on to the floor and after 10 minutes nobody moved to clean it up. I guess these things would be understandable if the place was busy bit it wasn't. Right near the interstate might explain how a place so bad could remain in business. Unlimited number of interstate customers. Who cares if they never come back. Good news though I don't think they spit in the hambuger.

Good food - we had burgers, steaks and roast sandwiches. Jalapeno was spicier than indicated by the server, but sweet bread was excellent. Service was pleasant and helpful, but sparce and prices a little high for serving size.

My family shared the 4 feeder platter and had the ribs, brisket, pulled chicken and pulled pork. I honestly don't know how that meat was prepared. The ribs and brisket were so dry and flavorless. Usually smoked meat is very tender and has a crust, these did not at all. The pulled chicken and pork definitely had better flavor. The waitress was very nice but she didn't know anything about the menu or how anything is prepared. Can't say anything about the other foods they offer, but I would steer clear of the BBQ.

It has been some time since I have been here because of distance, but Skeeter Barnes is wonderful. Great food, nice staff. I will be back when the opportunity presents itself. Highly recommended.
