I was hospitalized twice the month of January. Everyone I came in contact with was very nice but especially the hospitalists. I just wish they were able to see patients outside the hospital. They are all extremely nice, brilliant and professional. I give them 5 stars because everyone who works at the hospital beyond exceed my expectations!!nThis hospital should overall have higher than 3 stars. Maybe if more people who are pleased with the care they received would rate the hospital they'd be higher than 3 stars. Main problem is people are more likely to rate a place if they had a bad experience.nThank you very much for reading my rating and please consider rating them a little higher because when over 100 employees are the best they can possibly be don't let one persons conduct reflect the hospital that is great as a whole!!

I'm from out of state and fell on ice. Had to go to ER. Fairview Range was awesome. The staff is friendly and very professional. The facility was clean and orderly. I was seen right away the entire process was flawless. They went over and above to make sure my knee was treated as it should have been and thanks to them I'm on the mend. Thank you so much for everyone that helped me today. I would give ten stars if I could.

The emergency room physician Dr.Olsen neglected to treat a young man who presented to this emergency room early one morning after suffering head trauma. The man was acting confused and belligerent and was written off as intoxicated- neither lab work or breathalyzer done to confirm. He sat there for four hours vomiting and confused- and was set to DISCHARGE HOME- until a new nurse on the next shift went in and assessed the man and told the doctor he needed evaluation. At that point his blood alcohol was below the legal limit at 0.05. A CT scan showed a significant head bleed and skull fracture. Had this nurse not intervened, this man would’ve been sent home by this ER doctor, and ultimately would have died. I know what standard of care is, and this isn’t it. This doctor took an oath to help people without prejudice.nThis doctor had failed to treat another young man in serious condition at the Cloquet hospital (I encourage those to look this up with this doctors name and this hospital, it was in the Duluth News Tribune) and legal action was sought out for justice of his negligence.nThis is not someone you want working in your community ER, somewhere where you should feel safe receiving care when you need it the most. I want to thank the nurse that spoke up and saved this man’s life.

I'm very disappointed in the way I was just treated by the Emergency department phone I just called and 2 of my friends are positive for covid. I was negative, but obviously I need retesting. This lady was very rude and argumentative with me. I'm just trying to be a good person, a good friend, and I was trying to be protective of the staff at the hospital as well. Just because someone has a position doesn't give them the right to push someone who needs their help away. I tested negative, but my friends are positive. They live in the Same building. I love down the road by myself. I am obviously disappointed about Christmas now. I dont want to risk other people. When the only person you can talk to is completely rude, what do u do?

One dr. In the er. Can't see other patients because they aren't seen as urgent enough for the Dr. To see.
