We loved the bar. They were very accommodating even with no reservations. The hostess was very pleasant and make great drink suggestions. Atmosphere was comfortable without feeling overbearing like some bars.
Prohibition Bourbon Bar is an outstanding place with a cool vibe boasting over 2800 whiskeys in the building (only room for ~800 on display). Pete and his wife are a friendly wealth of knowledge. Pete, a lawyer by day and owner/bartender by night, can recommend anything on the shelf based on what you like or what you want to try. Fair prices on some hard to find bourbons and a great place to go if you want to try a flight of something new or unique.
Amazing place. They are closed most holiday weekends and during the week, but if you find a time to go it's a must. Absolutely incredible selection, service and prices. It has a very friendly atmosphere. Tried the KY specialty flight and it was a great suggestion. I loved everything! Incredible that the proceeds go to helping animals (SAAP I believe). The owners are one of a kind and just the most friendly people you will meet!
Drinks are pricey but you pay for what you get! Amazing selection of bourbon and great handmade cocktails! Great place to go and try some fine bourbon that you can’t find in stores!
Absolutely everything top notch...food, coffee, bourbon selection, service and people.
