If you haven't been there in a while you owe it to yourself to give them a try. New ownership a couple of years back cleaned, remodeled and removed Purple from the name.nI have had burgers and their fried chicken and not sure which is better. Worth the drive.
Chicken was good, the walleye sandwich was excellent. The new owners have cleaned the place up and the dining experience is much improved. Will return soon. RJD.
We brought our neighbors from Ottertail,MN for their first time at the Palace. The service was excellent and the chicken and the Burgers were very good. Desta and Kylie were very friendly and provided great service. I has been nicely remodeled and looks great. I highly recommend it!! I recommend the fried green beans too!!

Great country bar. Great staff. Known for their chicken, both fried and their wings!!!nUPDATE- continues to be one of the best places around. Staff is absolutely fantastic. Food is over the top. Everyone coming to the lakes should stop here. Period.
