TCF Bank

I have accounts at multiple institutions and work at a bank as well. Tcf is by far the worst bank I have had to deal with. I asked them to give me nickels and they limited me to 4 dollars in change total. Went over to my us bank down the street who I have had for 11 years and the gave me 30 dollars in nickels no questions asked. Except for do I want a bag?nnAlso have account at Wells Fargo and have had great experiences but for some reason TCF has just been trash to work with and their customer service number is worse then calling a deaf elderly person to place a takeout/ delivery order.

Great job updating your Holiday hours! Thought your Anoka bank on Main was open. Although nope, was closed! Drove on icy roads to get their thinking I could make our deposit. Terrible. Unsatisfied with TCF in general. Whenever you call a branch you get transferred to corporate so they have no relevant answers to any of your questions. Tellers can be pretty unfriendly as well. Remember years ago you employed this snooty guy at your Industrial Blvd location who acted like he didn’t have the time of day for you! Think I will start doing my banking else where after this last straw that broke the camel’s back.

My elder mother has been trying to work with TCF for quite some time with 0 results! She will get told yep that is taken care of then 3 months later gets a letter with news saying she needs to take care of it. I got involved and have left 5 messages at the Anoka branch with 0 call backs. I’ve told my mom I closed my TCF account 30 years ago because I thought customer service was horrible- just proved my point and told her to close if we EVER get issues resolved from a loan she paid off almost 20 years ago!

My family has banked with TCF for almost 50 yrs always had good experience with your bank and other Tcf banks never a harsh word from anyone you could have better than a 5

When I call your bank, I don't want the number on my card for customer service I want to speak with someone at your bank, try putting an actual phone number on your location
