I love how easily accessible Buck Hill is. Yes there's amazing resorts in Utah and Colorado... But they're not easy to get to are they? Of all the local slopes I find Buck Hill the easiest to get to, easy to park, easy to get passes and easy to get to a desirable lift in less than an hour. Door to lift time is unreal. Also can't beat $20 nights on Fridays and Sundays. For newbies figuring out how to not die on a snowboard, I find their greens are the best at challenging you but also not straight up full of people who are hostile to newbies.nnFor newbies it's a 10/10 recommend.nnFor seasoned shredders, ehh you might find that it's not as big or challenging as other places. Then again it's a great place to take a date who's new but eager to learn how to snowboard.

See i love this hill and as a snowboarder who loves the terrain park and half pipe, they’ve been getting worse at maintaining this and making terrain parks more beginner safe terrain park. As i’m writing this (3/11/21) the mini terrain is so dangerous it literally made my friend landed flat hard. This would be a 5 star if park crew actually maintained the mini park and made it a bit more newbie friendly. I would not do terrain parks if you don’t really know what you’re doing. I still love this hill though.

I love Buck Hill! I have been ski racing here for 7 years. The coaches are so kind and helpful and have pushed me to be the best ski racer I can be. The terrain varies throughout the area and can accommodate beginners to the most advanced racers. The food is amazing! My personal favorite food are the $1 donuts because they are so delicious. Buck Hill will always be my home and I'm glad to be part of one of the most prosperous ski clubs in the US!

Went tubing and had a great time! Well organized and maintained. The line moves pretty fast so you get to go down quite a few times in the 2 hrs you have. There is a fire pit to warm up and it's close to the cafe as well.

Took the kids tubing on a Wednesday afternoon. Line was pretty long, even though you book a 2-hour time slot in advance. During our 2 hours there the kids made it down the hill 6-7 times. Rest of the time was spent waiting in line. However, everything else was good. Bathrooms were easy to access and clean, line for food/beverages inside was relatively short, staff were polite and helpful. We'll go again, just during a less busy time.
