Great ice cream, but expensive
Best ice cream in the area! A ton a flavor options to satisfy everyone. Also, you definitely get your money's worth for the massive size of their scoop.
Their ice cream is very good, but it's not worth the wait and the terrible customer service. I went with a relative a few days ago and after waiting in line for 15 min. in the hot sun they messed up our order. The cashier also had bad attitude and seemed frustrated at our order (2 cones and a pint). They gave me the wrong sized scoop, I ordered a baby scoop and they gave me a double and put my cousin's single scoop in a cup even though she ordered a cone. Her scoop was also half the size of mine even though I ordered the smaller size! Every time we've gone this summer, we've had to wait in line for at least 10 min. and the cashiers always seem annoyed. One time, they were playing around and took forever to scoop ice cream while the line was getting long. You guys either need new managers or need to come up with a better system (like one person on the cash register at all times and the other scoops ice cream). We would've stopped by more than I few times this summer if we didn't see a long line when driving by.
Very tasty ice cream to cool off on a hot day. Beware, portions are huge! Their customer service was great. After telling the young lady who took my order about my child's nut allergy, they went above and beyond expectations to assure me there was no cross contamination. Get your ice cream now!
Sherman's has always been an amazing place with incredible ice cream. However, they recently got new owners, who since changed most things I knew and loved for the worse. They eliminated over 20 flavors from the menu, including some of the iconic flavors like blueberry and one of my favorites, milky way. In addition, they have changed many of the recipes and flavors and distorted the place I once loved into just an average ice cream parlor. I guess the new owners thought they could do it better than the prior owners who were there for what seems like ages and awarded numerous times.
