This was an awesome visit. Tumbleweed is one of our favorite restaurants when we are home. The service is great most of the time and they have amazing food. They have great steaks, burrito dinners and the drink specials Monday and Thursday are sweet! Today the food was even better than normal, it could be just because we haven't been in a while, but it was awesome. My favorite side is a side salad because of the croutons. They are jalapeño cornbread croutons and they are AWESOME! Everyone should give Tumbleweed a go if they have never been!
The food was perfect and our server was amazing.
Only reason I gave 2 stars is waitress was mediocre. Please, explain this 1. Received appetizer which was buffalo chicken strips, absolutely disgusting. They were hard? Cold! 2. Received salad with meal?what?why? Porterhouse steak was well done, ordered medium and had so much salt on it, why? were you trying to salt cure a steak? And also hard couldn't cut with a knife..really? Get a clue management! Do some work! Walk the floors, pay attention to your staff, watch your cooks. To be nearly empty at 6 p.m. And you cant do better than this? Absolutely disgusting and dont worry, I will not be back.
Food & service was very good. Our hostess was bright & cheerful despite having many customers. I did find it pricey.
Was not crowded. Food was served quickly and was hot and tasty. Our server was on top of her game. Drinks were kept full and she was extremely friendly and courteous.
