It's really the only indoor skate place in Michigan. There are others, but they are subpar. The only problem with modern is that the ramps get quite Dusty and therefore slippery. The floors are also pretty slippery. I realize there's not much they can do about this. I think if they try to make it look a little cleaner and nicer for parents to hang out oh, that would be a big plus.nnIn response to the owner: nicer couches, reasonable TV, more lighting. I'm sure a coffee cart would go a long way and maybe make you some $. Try to sweep the half pipes more often. Just think about it from a parent's perspective... like how could I make this place more comfortable for the moms/dads who are waiting a couple of hours. Though I realize you guys are probably on a tight budget.

Superior customer service! Shane and staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Overall great experience renting a snowboard. Don’t wait until you get to the ski resort to rent. Far better options here!
This place was so nice! When I went and got my board, one of the employees Tyler was so helpful. I'm so excited to come back next time to skate!
I recently had a class here (about 30 mins ago haha). I’ve never really rode before and I was older than all the kids in my group class. Therefore I was nervous. But I really enjoyed it and felt comfortable a few minutes in. Everyone was very kind and encouraging. The teacher was helpful and overall great. Unfortunately, I can’t remember who taught my group lesson. (probably doesn’t help but he had a beard!)
