I was there last night with my friend as her support system. We may have waited a long time to be seen, but the entirety of the staff was friendly and very accommodating. They didn't give off a negative impression about the reason why we were there. I also liked that I was able to be there in every aspect of my friend's time there. The medical assistant was well-versed and directed her attention to my friend and to me that is an invaluable type service. The social worker Scott was so attentive. He directed his attention to my friend and listened and responded at correct times. I felt he really cared and was giving his best effort during this trying time. I appreciated the many options that were given and the time for my friend to decide what to do. Not many places give the space for decision making. The atmosphere was calm and inviting at the same time. It didn't look like a hospital at all, and it felt more like walking into a community center, with health professionals. The constant beeping of monitors and people rushing around in a normal hospital setting is very distracting and can be anxiety producing. So the calm atmosphere was a huge plus for me. If I ever am in need of this type care, I will search out this facility first.

I experienced a manic episode in January of this year. Never in my life has this happened to me before. I knew I needed Doctor's to look over me and help me understand what I was going through. Upon talking about my symptoms with my Primary Doctor and Family, I checked myself in and spent 5 day's in your facility. I am forever grateful for the team of experts who worked tirelessly to help those in need who I shared my stay with at this facility. Too many wonderful staff member's to thank personally, just know I am forever grateful for my time here at your facility.

this place is a joke. they had me wait two hours whilst in a crisis just to tell me they didn’t take my insurance and sent me on my way, two hours later. So now I’m going to be paying for a doctors visit where they did nothing for me, kinda figured that’s why they kept me so long. There were plenty of times they could’ve told me this, such as when they took my insurance card. Staff couldn’t act like they cared any less.nnThey’ll give you the number and will never catch up with you, again this place is a joke. you’d have better luck at a regular urgent care.

This facility and it's staff are a joke!!! I won't even waste my time with my story as they aren't doing anything to followup from last April. To say I was disgusted would be an understatement.

Pine Rest Urgent Care doesn’t deserve any stars or recognition. We took our adult daughter to Pine Rest Urgent Care two weeks ago due to ingesting pills the pervious night. When my daughter checked in we were told she would be seen by a nurse, social worker and finally a psychiatrist. She saw the nurse and Chris the social worker. After talking to our daughter Chris came to the waiting room and asked to speak to my husband and me. Chris was going to talk to us right there in the waiting room in front of other people. My husband asked if we could go someplace to speak privately. Guess where Chris took us? Outside in front of the main entrance. It was pouring rain and extremely humid. Plus people were coming and going. There was no place to sit so we stood. This was not only unprofessional and cruel but what about confidentiality? I got the impression Chris the social worker wanted to be anywhere but talking to us. Chris informed us our daughter would not be meeting with a psychiatrist after all. Perhaps he should inform the person who registered my daughter. I asked Chris if he could give us some direction until we could see a family therapist and could he recommend a family therapist. He couldn’t come up with one name for us. Are we not at a mental health facility and he can’t recommend anyone? The only words of wisdom Chris bestowed on my husband and me was make sure we hide knives, pills, etc. Really?nWhen our daughter was done we left with no concrete instructions or information but someone saw fit to change her medication. Who was qualified to make that decision?nTo say we were disappointed, underwhelmed and disgusted is an understatement.nMy daughters visit was a joke. My God we’re talking about a life.nPine Rest you have a long way to go and much to learn if you want to be a premier mental health facility.nThe fact that we were led outside to have a discussion about my daughters life is unacceptable. I will be filing a report.nI will never use or recommend Pine Rest Urgent Care. Thankfully we found a phenomenal family therapist and my only request was the person wasn’t affiliated with Pine Rest.
