All I wanted to buy was a ball for my dog and I to go play at the beach. The owner required a mask, which is fine but I just asked him if I could wait outside and buy a ball, to which he responded we have balls for sale. I asked if I could hand him my CC and buy a ball but he responded with you'll have to wear a mask and come inside. I'm not allowed, by law, to wear a mask so I ended up going to a large chain store to make my purchase. I would much rather support the small community stores but couldn't. Hopefully they read this and try to make it easier for people who aren't allowed to wear masks to purchase from them.
We will never spend another cent at this place. We prefer to spend our money at all the local privately owned businesses and support our community, and we have shopped here many times before. Never again. To be treated and humiliated in such a manner by one of the the rude gentleman that run this shop. You want to belittle people over mask violations while your employees are guilty of the same exact thing? I will never shop here again and I will definitely recommend to friends and family to take their business elsewhere.
Very nice staff love all the stuff they have good price
I've been visiting Petoskey my whole life and this has become one of my favorite stops since becoming a dog owner. The people here treat you like family and they always try to remember you and your dogs names. The awesome brands got us in the door but the atmosphere has made us return again and again!
