Hilton Garden Inn Auburn Riverwatch

It's a Hilton Garden Inn. It's exactly what you expect from one if you've ever stayed in one before. Solidly good, never exceptional in either a positive or negative sense. The staff are perhaps a bit above standard for the chain, but not so much as to surprise you. It's a short walk to Lisbon Street restaurants and bars, even in the December cold, and there's always Gritty's across the street if you just aren't even up to a ten minute walk. (And if, like me you grew up close enough to remember Lisbon Street in the 90's, let me assure you that these days it's actually safe and pleasant.)

Clean room, great view, great price, great location.nThe manager already responded (thank you!) but the first part of this review was written as kind of a placeholder until I had more time to write.nThe room was spacious, with two TVs (crucial for watching sports at 11, while your girlfriend is trying to sleep). Ask for a view of the river if possible. Auburn is an old mill town I thinkud83eudd14 so there are some little falls, which make the river a pleasant site. While our stay was short and we didnt get to wander around the town, I can tell it is centrally located in town.

The room was very clean. I ordered breakfast from the Grill restaurant and was able to pick it up in 10 mins. Breakfast was good, but the coffee from the restaurant was like brown water...I drank the coffee I made in my room instead.

The hotel is beautiful and the workers are very nice however the handicap accessible room was in disrepair. The shower seat was cracked and screws were lose as well the toilet seat lid was cracked at the hinge. So maybe if they took care of those bits it would be better but from a person who is handicaps point of that is pretty big on the whole needing an appropriate room.

Timely efficient service even in the middle of the am when I checked in. And they have helped me deal with this fedex package debacle due to the weather. Amazing service please keep it up.
