RED WING - ROCKFORD, IL

Terrible service. They didn't have the boot in stocks. Normally shouldn't be that big of a deal. While in the store the lady was nice told you what you would expect for a place where you spend an average of 200 for a pair of shoes. It's been 10 days and still no boots. I was told they would have them sent over from another store or shipped to store either way will only be 2 or 3 days tops and she would call me the next day to let me know. I have not once received a call from them. I have had to call them 3 times. Finally a guy says I will send them to your house. Excuse for no call was because they didn't yet have the boot in stock yet. Do not use this store if need boots order online. I will be trying another company all together next time I need a pIr of boots.

I start a new job as a laborer in a couple weeks and needed a pair of safety toe boots. Everyone I asked said go to red wing. When I got there I was sized immediately and when I gave them my price range, they were able to point me towards a few different styles. Ended up going with the 6 inch King toes. Super comfortable and the feel like they could have a bomb dropped on them with no damage. I was helped by Chris and he was very patient with me while I tried on pair after pair and made sure I understood the warranty because that was something I was worried about. Red wing is like the Lexus of work boots. Dependable, comfortable, and built to last. Nothing but good words for this place.

This year is the first year that we have ordered shoes from them they come highly recommended. Our first pair of shoes was supposed to take 1week to get to us but the store forgot to get them pulled from another store so it took three weeks for us to get them. Now we ordered a second pair of shoes three weeks ago and I have spoken to the manager Tammy three times and I keep getting the run around. Now it’s week four we still don’t have shoes that we again have spent over $300 dollars on and we still have no shoes. They were supposed to call me again this past week and no one call so I was forced to call today again for the 5th time on pair of shoes that we were supposed to get almost 4weeks ago. The guy I spoke to today said I’m only part time and I don’t know what to tell you as I waited 20 mins on hold while he tried to find the order, his words were I hope and think that they have been ordered. He told me to call back tomorrow to speak to Tammy which hasn’t been very nice at all when I speak to her so I will have to go up to the store again because we still have no shoes . I would like to call corporate and speak to someone about how there Rockford store is being handled but of course know one will give me that number .nnLauren Allen

I’ve always been a redwing guy and spend $200-$300 on boots. Today their store had 2 actual customers and spouses and they wouldn’t let me in to purchase a new pair of boots... maybe ask the non buying customers to wait outside so they can allow buying customers inside!

Great customer service. The gentleman and the lady that helped me are both friendly and very nice. I stopped by to get steel toe shoes for work, and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted and helped. Thank you!
