Kuchie's on the Water

Great place for lunch. Stopped here while passing through, will definitely be back. Food was great, atmosphere was fun, nice spot right on the river. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Wish we could have tried the giant pretzel, but only two of us and we knew there was no way we could manage it. Next time we’re staying in the area, this will be our destination for food and Bloodys!

The food had a great taste and the atmosphere was exactly what one would think of being a tavern on the river.nnThe waitress was very knowledgeable and polite. She made an excellent recommendation and I was very pleased with the burger she suggested.nnStaffing seemed a little short but the speed of service was excellent. I only bring up the staffing because the waitress appeared in a rush to keep the speed of service up.nnThe cook could use a pay a little more attention to details on the orders though. I ordered a open face burger with loaded cheese fries and asked that the cheese be on the side as I don't care for a lot of cheese sauce or cheese at all on my fries. When the order got to me there was cheese all over the fries. The waitress was run ragged so I told her not to worry about it. I didn't want to make more work for her.nnIt's difficult to pay $15.00 for a burger and fries to have them smothered in a cheese sauce.nnIf you go there, and I highly recommend you do, be careful using Google Maps to get there. It took me down a road that wasn't paved and seemed more like an offroad utility road to access the locomotive trains alongside the river.nnLeaving we were able to find a paved road but even that road was not very good one.nnHad the place been staffed well and the cook got my order right I would have given the place 5 star rating. As it is though I would still go back. The food is very good.

Best experience ever! Our server was Rhonda and I don’t know which was better- her service or the food and drinks! EVERYTHING from start to finish was delicious and super fun ud83dudd25 definitely recommend!

Fun atmosphere with food with a flair. Server Casi was very charming and attentive. The worst road in the area is the only thing that will keep us from returning often!

Reserved an area for 15. When we got there, they told us they gave it to another group. I guess they don't ask for the group name when people show up. So our group had to find somewhere else to go. Thankfully Crusens Rt29 was willing to accommodate our group
