I moved to the valley recently from out of state. My boyfriend and I are in the process of getting engaged. UCCU has been so helpful in the process of opening joint-savings, a new checking account and even helping us by getting us both approved for credit cards because they cared about helping us build credit. Lexi helped us with getting a loan for my ring and we feel so blessed to have the support of UCCU during this time when most banks aren’t so accepting of young couples with no credit.

We came in to get a loan. We where told we qualify for a $6000 loan, and had paperwork sent to us that stated it. Told us we had some time to think about it. We come back today to get the loan. They changed what they told us to it being a $2000 loan. No reasonable explanation. This also not surprising coming from them.

I am extremely disappointed at a customer service representative in the loan office today. I have been stressed trying to buy a car to move my family across the country in 2 days and am waiting on an auto loan approval. It has been a long process which I understand it can be and am not saddened by this. I was upset when I called in for an update and just made sure to let the bank know that if they could help me get this as fast as possible I really need it rushed. Instead of understanding my situation and being kind, the girls response was "yeah, so does the rest of Utah." I'm sorry but this is unacceptable. I know we are all working hard to make life work right now but we should be listening and treating each other kind. Instead of feeling like I am happy with this bank I feel uneasy about trusting them. I know customer service can be hard. But please don't treat those who aren't attacking you in a rude manner. We are all in stressful situations. Treat each other right. This is unacceptable and unprofessional.

I was horrified while opening a new account. I noticed the guy who was helping me, kept stifling a little cough. At one point, he took off his mask and sneezed. To which he said excuse me, “that’s definitely not something you want to do into a mask.” In fact, that’s the most important time to do “that into a mask.” I get it, it’s gross, but it’s even grosser to spread your germs all over everyone else. Carry a spare mask, but don’t make others suffer the consequences of your sneeze. Be responsible for yourself and considerate of others.
