I was forced to give a 1 star review...but only because there isn't an option for 0 stars or more appropriately a negative star rating.
My experience with this bank has been absolutely horrendous! It took them over 6 months to close a refinance for me! One thing after another, every single day some new issue, some new problem, needing some new document...for 6 months. The different departments didn't know what was going on with each other...one would tell me one thing, and another would tell me something else. Communication was awful. It was just a terrible awful experience.
Then, they were supposed to set up the payment on auto pay...which never happened...so my mortgage didn't get paid for two months...which destroyed my credit rating. I have submitted the paperwork to dispute those, as well as reached out to the branch manager in Orem to get those late payments removed (I hope that I can at some point edit this review to remove this part of it....fingers crossed.)
Then, they didn't pay my insurance company the escrowed insurance premium...so that got cancelled. Now I have to spend more time on the phone fixing another one of their mistakes.
This bank has horrible reviews for a reason. I thought it was just a fluke but make no mistake, this bank is a waste of time. Just wasted 8 months trying two different times for a HELOC and finally the second time they said they wouldn’t accept 1099 income when the first time they denied me the excuse was I didn’t have current pay stubs. Every time I received an answer from these clowns it was because I was the one reaching out and trying to get the process moving forward. Nothing but a joke trying to work with this institution.
This place is like the Walmart of banks. 1 teller to help 12 people in line. If you plan on coming here bring a book and a snack while you wait.
