Was seen a few days ago by a PA in the ER.nExplained my issue, symptoms, etc. was given a diagnosis that didn’t seem correct to me based on my history and the current bloodwork and symptoms.nWas told within a day, symptoms would subside with prescribed treatment.nI followed to the T and symptoms got worse- again lending weight to what I was worried might be wrong.nnI called to discuss this today and was told that I can not speak to a doctor, I have to come back in again.nThe issue is an issue I’ve had before on a smaller scale. I can’t justify coming back in to correct YOUR mistake and risk Covid when I have two immune compromised family members, when what I need is a simple change of prescription.nnWhat kind of providers ignore medical history, ignore patient information, and opt to not get on a phone call to help provide better care?nnI always had great experiences with NWestern... but this time not only risked my health but the health of two of my family members.

We had to take our 12 year there for stitches recently and had a great experience. Even in the middle of a pandemic, the nurses and Dr all took time to calm my daughter and make me feel comfortable in what was going on.

My father came in with pneumonia from a nursing home. His doctor didn't want to treat him because he is 81 and on medicaid. She wanted him to have hospice care which means nothing. His treatment was delayed for 5 days, I guess hoping that he just die. After 5 days he was finally given a tube to drain his lungs. By this time there were complications but he still recovered. I guess Northwestern follows the Democrats socialized medicine ideal. You're worth nothing if your old and on Medicaid, even though these are the people which have worked their whole lives paying taxes. If my father would've died I would've sued Northwestern.

Super kind, helpful, and sympathetic staff. Everything was clean, and they took care of me shortly after I checked in without any issues even though I was a first time visitor.
