Godfrey's Ale House

Godfrey’s has such a wide array of choices that it’s so hard to choose what to eat! Everything I have tried here is delicious. The servers are outgoing and friendly. This place is BOOMING on the weekends and even some weekdays! You know it’s good when people keep coming back! 5 stars!!

Absolutely the best atmosphere, service and food we have had. Owner was so much fun. We were just traveling through for a soccer tournament but were treated like family.

First time here. Traveling and passing through town. Food was awesome and came out super fast..very friendly waitress. Definitely recommend.

Excellent fish tacos. I will be back if ever in this town again. Saved this place as a favorite. I normally don't like soft pretzels & my friends wanted them so we got those as well. It made me rethink my stance on soft pretzels...very good.

Whenever we visit my Grandma in Ottumwa, we always try to look for different places to eat (not an easy feat in a small town). We ate at Godfrey's for lunch and loved the variety of foods they had. The server was on top of things (even observing that my dad and I had given our lemons from our drinks to my mom, so she took out the lemons from our refills). The food was delicious all around and the place was clean and friendly.nnWe will definitely be going back whenever we come into town.
