Stopped into this restaurant with my wife as we were traveling through southeast Ohio from Georgia. Must say the food was excellent and our server Corey was so pleasant and interesting, ha! The town itself is unique as well! May just have to come back.
Yesterday (2-8-21) We ordered take-out. My son and daughter-in-law are vegetarians so they ordered the black bean burgers and I had a hamburger with Swiss cheese. Just wanted to say that that might have been the very best burger I've ever had!! The beef had outstanding flavor and the fries were excellent too!! I'm so glad that my son suggested The Galley for supper!! I would recommend The Galley any day!!! By the way, my son and daughter-in-law loved their black bean burgers too! Thanks so much for giving us a new place to dine.
Next time we're in town we will be visiting this restaurant again! We had a minor hiccup in our food and the manager quickly took care of it and us.nThe atmosphere in this restaurant is wonderful, we sat near the concert stage and it was a beautiful spacious room. The food was excellent and our service was too. We called in and made a reservation beforehand and we were thankful we did because the wait was a half hour plus!
Great food and service. My wife had the Salmon and I had the Ribeye Delmonico. Only the second steak I've ever had where I didn't need sauce. Will definitely be back.
The Galley has a classic feel, True to the heart of Marietta. The building Puts you in the feel, of times of the past, of the original settlers but with a modern twist.nnThe food was very good I was very happy with what I ordered and dessert was excellent. I would recommend this for business meetings or a classier night out.nnI would not recommend bringing a picky eater to the restaurant there are many options but they are not are universally excepted.
