Thank you Google Map again for guiding us to one of the greatest restaurants. We had ridden 20 miles on bikes and we were starving and exhausted. I looked on Google Maps for restaurants and J.P. Henry’s was very pleasing to my eyes. Beautiful decor and the photos of the food and beverages was appealing to me. The location was 5 minutes from our hotel. I hope that I can describe how wonderful an experience we had at J.P Henry’s. Our wait staff was helpful and professional. We had our beverages immediately and our appetizer soon afterward. Delicious on both accounts. We had steak that was cooked perfectly to our specifications. I had broccoli and mashed potatoes that were delicious also. I was so very pleased with everything about this restaurant. We will be stopping again when we return to ride the rail to trail in Parkersburg. Thank you to everyone that made the end of our day perfect.

Just stopped in for a quick lunch and everything was wonderful. The bartender was so nice and made a great Bloody Mary. As vegetarians we had some options on the menu. The roasted vegetables were lovely. I appreciated the hand lotion in the ladies room. Overall the place has good vibes.

Upon arriving, we were waiting to be seated as the hostess just casually chatted with a customer for over 5 minutes.nnWe waited at least twice as long after being seated before seeing our waitress.nnThe menu looks promising, but highly disappoints. Portions are shrunk and prices are jacked.nnThe attentiveness of the staff also leaves a lot to be desired. Even as I sit here, typing this at my table, I have been waiting 10 minutes for a single side of ranch for my fries.nnNeedless to say, we will not be returning and I would not recommend anyone choose this location to dine, and if you do, I hope you're experience was better than mine. Either way, be prepared for a loud, distracting atmosphere that is not suitable for relaxing meals.nnUPDATE: The waitress just came back to our table before I finished my review.....empty handed. I didn't even say anything. I just asked for the check and we are leaving.

Nice ambience good food and great portions. Had a a great time. Will surely return . For short staffed the staff hustled to make sure we were taken care of. If looking for a job they a re hiring.

Absolutely the WORST service I’ve ever had in my entire life !!! Waited 2 hours to get our food. I get that it was busy, but it’s no excuse. Server left our drinks empty and came to check on us maybe 3-4 times the entire 2 hours we were In there. Food was good tho, so at least the cooks know how to do their jobs. will NEVER be returning.
