This bank allowed me to buy commercial real estate in ATX. I'm fortunate to have gotten to know my bank. They know about me, my company and most of all, what's really important in the grand scheme of things - living. You can trust Denny Buchanan and Josh Borders. We do!
Never use their ATM because it will cancel your transaction. I went to their ATM Thursday morning to make a withdrawal of the amount of $350 and the ATM canceled the transaction, did not dispense the $350, and didn't print out a receipt. By of this, my car payment is late and I have to wait for 4 business days to have the pending transactions to be off my account. Very disappointed that the ATM at Independent Bank in Austin did this to be the second time I visit there. The lesson I learned I will never go make a withdrawal from that machine again.
Very fast and responsive. I think this is one of the only banks that allows a 5% downpayment when you buy a owner occupied multi-family property. The loan officers are very professional and responsive!
