My husband received excellent care while there in for 4 weeks in September recuperating from a very serious infection. We could not have been more pleased. We have followed up with Dr. Holmes as well as used St. Claire Home Health. I also had to spend a night at St. Claire in September following a visit to the emergency room for my hypertension. I was pleased with the care, the concern of the doctors and nurses as well as staff for my well-fare and the prompt treatment I received.
I've seen Neurology, Orthopedics, Heart specialist, Physical Therapy, OMT, Pain Management and Gastro and I'm sure a few I missed, but I've never ONCE left feeling that I didn't get outstanding medical care. Sure the doctors are working hard under the present conditions but during all of my visits I've always felt when the Doctor was in the room I was his/her patient and I've always had full and undivided attention.
Worst hospital in the country. They are tyrants that lock you up in a room and demand you wear a mask before service! Even if the mask is causing the boils they said i had to wear it at all time and refused me! Plus have a medical excuse! Dictator tyrants! Go to mt sterling
My mom got admitted last night at 8pm for a heart attack. She asked that she could take her usual beta blocker and blood pressure med at the usual time (930pm) and the staff laughed and said they have to order it in house and it will be ready. Once in the room, she was never introduced to any RNs and rang the call light to ask for the meds. They did not answer for 4 hours. She even walked out to the nurses station and no one was there. They then came in at 1230 and woke her up to move her to another station. At that time she told them she still had not gotten her meds, so the doctor ordered it and she got her blood pressure meds as well as her beta blocker at around 130 in the morning. All after having a heart attack. Dont go to this hospital if your life depends on it. My mom is lucky to be alive and I truly hope they will discharge her so she can go to a good hospital.
Just yesterday I was seen at the st. Clair medical pavilion . I had gone in because I tore my rotator cuff last August and the doctor I was seeing in orthopedics dr. Krause had left so I wanted to develop a repertoire with the new orthopedic surgeon there and request since I cannot do the deep nasal covid-19 asked that he would order me a throat swab test so I can finally have my surgery on my rotator cuff. I explained this to the young nurse as she goes to doctor pesson and she leaves my examining room door open and I hear him saying if I'm there for covid-19 test, then I must be ignorant. Needless to say I have told all of my family and friends about this none of us will be returning. I'll get a good doctor and a doctor that's not condescending and rude to do my surgery.
