Dania Khoncarly at the Southlake location is THE BEST I have ever been seen by, hands down!nI have struggled with not having energy, memory issues, depression, weight loss, not sleeping well and just no motivation for life’s daily needs. I have had bloodwork done at many different doctors offices these past years to try and find the reason and the hopeful solution but not 1 doctor has ever even seemed to care about fixing the issues or figuring out why.nDania is so enthusiastic, caring, knowledgeable and thorough, it’s incredible. If you are in search of someone to help you finally feel like someone cares and will take care of you, look no further!nI’m so glad I found this office and have someone who I feel truly cares about treating my issues. :)
The staff was amazing! They were super friendly and treated me with great kindness. I look forward to my future appointments with these wonderful ladies!
I don’t think the staff here is to blame. I think Office Managers and Medical Director need to create better process all around. The staff is friendly but if there are snags, there is no sense of urgency. I got called about some medication I no longer take about being available to fill, now the medication I am supposed to be taking they didn’t fill and it’s been a process. As a patient you do everything in your power to follow the instructions to a “T”, not miss a dose, take it at the right time and etc.... The process in place seems to not follow their own requirements and guidelines. I could hear the front staff getting frustrated with me on the phone over me going to the pharmacy 4 times to pick up a medication that didn’t get submitted. The pharmacy staff showed us their screen for incoming electronic prescriptions and nothing... but the office was adamant that they did what they needed to do and it was basically my problem if the pharmacy was saying other wise. The problem also is that Dr Westbrook doesn’t get to see these prescriptions they are all Electronically submitted so the pharmacy was trying ...... they called dr Westbrook’s REGISTERED office under his license and no response on refilling the prescription. So if you are willing to see a tech or someone else other than the doctor and have time to beg between pharmacy and office to get the prescription THEY want you to take....... this is the place for you. I would love for someone to actually instead of getting irritated with my calls to try and solve the situation to actually be grateful I am doing them a favor. It shouldn’t be a hassle to get something THEY want you to take and prescribed. My husband is an eye doctor and I would have handled this situation with great costumer service.nnSuch as “I am sorry Miss Makens, let me get to the bottom of this and call the pharmacy and get this straighten out so you don’t have to drive there another 3 times”...... simple like that. It’s takes 3 mins total to get on the phone with the pharmacy. My husband’s office has been in Southlake and FortWorth for 20 years and he sees a patient every 30 mins to make it work and not leave his decades long patients waiting. It’s just bad process....
I have been coming here for a few weeks to get some of my blood work done and start getting my levels evened out. The staff is awesome! I’m already starting to see the differences after getting b12 shots!nnHowever, I was referred to their gynecologist, Sridevi, to talk about my fertility issues (that I’ve been having for FOUR YEARS and know exactly what is wrong and was hoping to just get to try a medication- which I’ve already tried- and start really trying for a baby again)nThis lady was the rudest person I’ve ever met. She talked to me as if I had no idea what was going on with my own body, as if I haven’t been having the same issues for years, and tried to say that it wasn’t the issue. Uhm yes it is, I’ve been tested many places and my progesterone is too low to get pregnant. I’ve been on clomid before and it got my levels up, but due to crazy home life and traveling for hospice family memebers, I stopped after the second month and just now trying to get back on it. The gyno tried to tell me I was super young and shouldn’t have issues (I’m 26 ud83dude44) then tried saying it was my husband... who has already fathered children.. THEN tried to say it was because of my weight! Sorry but I had the same issue when I was 120 FOUR YEARS AGO vs 180 now. (20 of those lbs from when I was on climb ud83dude02)ud83eudd26♀ufe0f Anyways. She tried to have me leave without giving my blood sample that I had specifically made the appointment for, then acted annoyed when I said I wanted to give the sample. When she walked out of the room, she didn’t even say ANYTHING. If Sridevi sees this, I hope she realizes that this kind of bedside manner is NOT ok. Doctors are supposed to be there and listen to their patients... not try to belittle them or make them feel dumb.
The gynecologist had an emergency and couldn’t make it into the office, therefore my appointment was cancelled. I get that things come up and life happens. Rather than making me a priority for rescheduling, the phone operator told me that the doctor “was really booked the next few days” and the fastest they could get me in was FIVE days later!!!!!! This was irritating because I called weeks ago to make the said appointment that was cancelled, and then not having any accommodations for the inconvenience was even more of an inconvenience. I had to find a different doctor to go to. On another note, the office was very good at communicating!
