Donating plasma is great. I rely on the extra cash to buy food and pay my phone bill. Although I originally started donating at the sandy center I have still enjoyed donating here at the Provo center. The employees make me feel wanted and ask simple questions. I appreciate the socialization. Logan is a great example of a good employee. He’s always willing to help and seems to genuinely care about the donors

I’ve been donating here for almost three years now and will have to stop. The employees here have become incredibly relaxed and far too social with one another. I’m almost every step of the donating process you’re left waiting because instead of doing their job the employees are constantly talking to one another. Literally every part. Even when your sitting in the screening booth the employee has their back to you and is talking to other employees about their weekend plans after calling you to their booth. There needs to be better training on being attentive to the donors. I’ve waited 15 minutes after donating to be bandaged and be able to leave. If it was busy that would be one thing but it was a normal day and a cluster of 5 employees were just standing there talking. I had to waive one of them over just to get the needle out of my arm.

Love coming here! Great way to make money during Covid, and contribute to the national plasma shortage!

This place is great! It is a little intimidating at first, but they're really cool people and they're good at helping you if you're nervous. Just ask for a senior worker to stick you and you'll be fine. This pays for my rent every month.

I’ve been donating here since 2016 and have always had good experiences. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to your needs. The environment is professional yet fun. In regards to COVID-19, they sanitize everything between donors, require face masks (as well as face shields for staff), provide hand sanitizer, and encourage social distance seating. As for payment, they often have bonuses in addition to the regular compensation. You can donate up to twice a week so the extra cash ain’t bad! Sometimes the process takes longer than I’d like but that’s just on the days when it’s really busy or they are short staffed. Overall, I’d recommend the Provo Biomat to anyone in the area wanting to help patients in need or who are looking for a little extra income!
