I will give them at least 2 stars because their sticks on me have been decent, but their organization and customer service is not good at all. For some sticks, they had a trainee set up the donation and then another employee comes to do the actual needle part. NUMEROUS times I've had a trainee get the machine set up and then they forget to tell anyone to stick me after they have set it up. I then have to wait 5-10 minutes while trying to get the eye contact of one of the workers. It's one thing if it's busy and I'd totally get it if that were the reason, but there has got to be a better system of transfering setting up a machine to the person who puts the needle in. One time is totally fine, but numerous? It's happened to me 4x in one month! Overall they are doing great at their job but NEED to make some changes with the organization. Today was the breaking point when the person who set me up not only messed up setting up the machine once after not telling someone I was ready to be stuck, but TWICE. 20 extra minutes I had to wait for the whole thing. That's ridiculous! I guess the only good side to this is maybe my high blood pressure has made my donation go faster... hahaha

Biomat has one of the worst systems for letting a donor know that they will not be eligible to donate in a given day. All notifications and acknowledgement of a problem are addressed after you set an appointment, show up to their location, and fill out all necessary paperwork. There are specific instances where details MUST be given in person, but the vast majority of dismissals could be dealt with prior to you eating two hours setting aside time to donate. They need to fix this process or it’s just a matter of time before a new brand takes their place.

As far as donating goes it is fine and I have been going there for three years now. The actual donation process goes great. The low review is for the staff on the donation floor. Many are great. However, for every great employee like Christian or the dark haired tall guy that works the same shifts (both great) there are equally bad and obnoxious employees. It is extremely annoying to hear the latest gossip from both your bed and from across the floor three bays. The people don't care about how the donators feel or think about what is being said and some things are very thoughtless and insensitive. Like I said as far as donations go, everything goes smoothly. As far as the staff goes, lessons and training in being a professional are MUCH needed.

I went recently and it took a long time. People were about 2 to 3 ft apart (especially at the front door) and the plasma room was crowded. I recommend calling ahead to see when the busy times are so that you don't get into a situation you're uncomfortable with.

Great employees but terrible at notifying their donors about policy updates. I have been donating for 2-3 years at this location and no issues until today: I donated on 1/17/2020 with a cold sore and everything was fine no refusal. I try to donate today 1/20/2020 and they told me their policy changed and I couldn’t donate. That would have been great to know when the policy changed over a course of 3 days. They need to be more on top of sending out policy changes so then people don’t waste their gas just to be told that they can’t donate. Regardless, the employees are wonderful and always super nice.
