I absolutely love the fact that Mamarita's has a good assortment of vegetarian/vegan options. I haven't been to this location prior to this visit, but I have been to the location in north Houston and remember it fondly. I ordered the veggie fajitas and it was a huge, delicious order of awesome. I took half home as left overs and happily ate it the next day.

We called ahead for 9 adults and 2 high chairs. We arrived and was shown to a table that has three chairs on each side , a 6 top that they then added 3 additional chairs and two high chairs to. Next to the table was a 4 top. I explained that as much as I love my family I did not want to sit in their lap and if they could connect a four top to accommodate our large party. We were informed that they would not attach a table and we could only have ten people. After contemplating whether we wanted to rid of a pesky child or my mother in law, we instead enlightened them that the rules have changed in Texas as of Wednesday, we were informed that regardless they would not attach a table. I said why would they agree to our party on the phone then give problems. Also we would have to take the long trip across the street to dona chula. The obese kid at the desk said have a nice day. They now have a negative yet accurate and honest review and $220 less in sales tonight. Additionally my entire family will be also reviewing them on every platform because we believe customer service is key when you are in the service industry...

This place has great food! But I called 3 times today to see if their private dining area/ballroom was available for an upcoming event. The person that handles the reservation NEVER returned my call. Oh well, I will need to look elsewhere. Too bad for us because it was so close by and too bad for them because they lost a party event.

I love this place the second I got it. The ambience, music & the smile of the people is magical! I never been to a place as authentic as Mamaritas. And the food is amazing too! Everything arrived on time and hot, the chips and salsa while we waited were fresh and tasty. Will surely come back! recommend
