I was recently a patient at the surgery center for a finger joint replacement. My surgery time was delayed by approximately 3-hours due to unavoidable circumstances. The nursing staff was incredible prior to surgery & post surgery. Every effort was made to make me as comfortable as possible. The anesthesiologist & staff were also amazing. Everyone was very professional, highly skilled, and genuinely caring. The entire group works as a cohesive team and it’s obvious they enjoy their work of providing medical care.

I had laparoscopic hernia surgery at Texas Health surgery center Craig ranch. The surgeon was Dr Chad Carlton of Plano Texas. I came to them through a payment plan called New Choice Health. The whole experience was outstanding. I highly recommend everyone involved with that surgery.

If you are considering surgery here, be sure to ask about the fees for the anethesologist. I was not informed that they were out of network. The claim was filed twice with my insurance company under two different names which was highly suspect. The amount billed was way out of what is considered customary for a 30 minute surgery. This should've been a minimal co-insurance payment, but instead a bill for above average cost for the service. I would've written a positive review for the experience itself, but I would not utilize this center again because of the experience with the billing.

Just don't pay your bill for months and you'll end up getting a 20% off coupon shortly. I made the mistake of paying in full, and the DAY OF received a 20% coupon. I called right back to try to change my amount of payment but they couldn't help me of course. After 3 weeks of working with their billing department, my bank and multiple phone calls back and forth they can't refund what I paid so I can pay the discounted amount. Horrible customer experience. Shouldn't send out coupons if you can't honor them.nnI nurses, doctors and staff there were amazing and took great care of my son. They would receive 5 stars. It's sad that they are affiliated with this hot mess of a billing department.

The billing department is a nightmare. I was told one price before my surgery. Another price the day of my surgery. AND now am being billed another $900. RUN. Seriously run. Not worth the money. Better off with a regular hospital or in office if available.
